While Lawmakers Point Fingers, We Fingerpoint and Click
If you’re like me, and I know you are, your mobile PDA phone alerted you around 2 pm today that the $700 billion bailout plan died in the House today. It died with an overwhelming majority of Dems voting “aye,” and an overwhelming of Republicans voting “nay,” despite likewise overwhelming support by the man who currently resides in the white house.
Immediately the Dow Jones Industrial Average took an unexpected plunge (or highly expected if you follow this stuff), and the fingerpointing ensued.
Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, with absolutely nothing tangible, nor noteworthy under her belt in the past 2 years as speaker clumsily shares her thoughts.
Then Ron Paul weighs-in on how “this is not really that drastic”:
Well, in more important news, Moonrider got Guitar Hero. That’s right. And guess what I did at lunch?
