Today is the day to celebrate, of course, if you follow the Julian calendar.  But those of you who follow the Gregorian calendar (as all of us do), well just wait 9 days for the real party to begin.

No that paints far too pretty a picture.

That being said, I have exactly half the work day off today since the baby’s daycare is closed.  We drank coffee on the porch, went to the playground, and played a little Guitar Hero, so it ain’t all bad.
